The aim of the microgrants program is a suppot and increase of number of ungulates during unfavourable conditions. The main emphasis is done on saving the breeding stock. So, the priority is given to the short-term actions against mass perish of the animals, such as: feeding plans, claening the snow etc.
Grant is devoted to the study of the natural capacity of forest for the ungulates and establishing, which factors, prevent its full use. During the grant fullfillment the difference in ungultes diet preferences during the winter period, peculiarities of food distribution and how much they are used by ungulates. The work was done in the south-east Primorie - Laso reserve, hunt estate "the Bear"
